Interested in becoming an

Associate Therapist?

Are you a counsellor or therapist in private practice?

Would sitting under the umbrella of a well established practice where you can blog and recieve referrals help your business?

Do you want to join a network of therapists but keep 100% autonomy and work for your own fees at your own availability?

Alex Carling offers counsellors and therapists an opportunity to join her network of therapists in order to manage referrals she can not work with herself, to offer diversity to clients and to support colleagues in developing their private practice.

If you were to join as an Associate, it would not affect your self-employment status, it does not take away any autonomy of your practice and if you accept EAP referrals, you are not expected to work for subsidised fees.

Whilst Alex is business-minded with her practice, there is no sacrifice of connection, relationships and ethical practice - her Associate Network is developed with mutual-consideration at the heart.

Here is what you can expect as an Associate with Alex Carling: Training & Therapeutic Services

  • Referrals based on your areas of interest, competence and availability

  • Alex assesses clients prior to referral and sends you a review of this, along with the client contact details

  • Alex will only send client referrals that she believes are ready to engage i.e. that Alex would be willing to work with myself

  • Invoices are sent at the end of each month for any client referrals that you have held a consultation with (holding a consultation is the cut-off point, without a consultation, a referral fee is not invoiced)

  • Referral fees are in accordance to your hourly fee at the time of referral i.e. 2 x client referrals, your hourly fee of £50 = £100 invoiced. This is a one-off payment per referral
