Mental health and wellbeing is a popular subject with little resources within our NHS to provide the care and resources that are needed, this inevitably has a huge impact of individuals, families and businesses - it’s a global issue that would benefit from us all holding a level of responsibility.

Our Employee Assistance Programme Services

Alex Carling is a psychotherapist with extensive training and experience in the areas of human experiences and she has a team of therapists that are available to take on short and longer term work for you employees.

We can offer your business, therapy sessions from 6 weeks to longer, depending on their needs and your consent.

Here’s what you can expect from our service:

  • Therapy will be undertaken by a qualified and experienced psychotherapist or counsellor

  • All therapists/counsellors have no current or outstanding investigations against them/their practice

  • All therapists/counsellors have their own professional indemnity insurance

  • All therapists/counsellors access and pay for clinical supervision

  • All therapists/counsellors engage in continual professional development to facilitate their practice

  • Many therapists/counsellors offer face-to-face and online, increasing accessibility

  • All therapists/counsellors record client information confidentially and safely, in accordance to GDPR legislation

  • All therapists have a cancellation policy which is honoured via the EAP service

Here’s what we offer your business:

  • One Contact Point - all enquiries, invoices and correspondence are with Alex Carling, therefore your business can make a referral and know all your questions can be answered by the same person. You don’t have to remember which employee is working with which therapist

  • All employee fees are sent on the one invoice, each month. You will not be receiving a dozen invoices for your finance team to manage

  • No hidden fees - our service works on a needs only basis, we do not require a set-up or holding fee for your business

  • Our therapists are available to work on a schedule of 6 to many - which creates opportunity for both short term and longer term needs. Any correspondence around extensions, will be with Alex Carling.

What makes us ethical?

Many businesses that offer an EAP service will use therapists and counsellors in training, this is great for the training counsellor as they build clinical hours, but they are paid a very low fee for the their service. Other companies also reward therapists by increasing their income for accepting more referrals - this leaves them in a difficult position of not earning enough, working more and heading to wards burnout - this also has an impact on the quality of service they are able to provide to your employees!

Our therapists are all qualified and they are paid their own clinical fees!

We mutually respects the client and therapist. Our therapists are not asked to work for less than what is fair and right and they are not rewarded by taking more clients than they feel comfortable with - we believe this is a sustainable answer to a big problem.
