Andy was diagnosed with severe Obsessive Compulsive Disorder at around 16-17 years old; he wrote this blog for National Story Telling Week 2019 to share his experiences and love of writing. Andy shares how his love of writing helped him communicate with the people around him, allowing him to be seen - this was a very difficult step but Andy says he’s never looked back, that writing helped save his soul.
